A personal health challenge in 2019 led her to pivot her career and establish a firm that is 90% women-led.

Today, beyond just recruiting, she dedicates her time to mentor women, guide companies in diversity efforts, and ensure the right talent finds the right role

What motivated you to transition from a successful engineering career to entrepreneurship?

A personal health challenge sparked my transition. I saw a need for diversity in engineering leadership and decided to address it.

How did you manage the risks and uncertainties associated with starting your own business?

I embraced risks as part of the journey, stayed adaptable, and relied on my engineering problem-solving skills.

What strategies did you use to balance your career and personal life? 

I set clear boundaries, prioritized tasks, and ensured quality time for family, understanding that balance is dynamic.

Storytelling allowed me to share my experiences, connect deeply with others, and inspire change in the industry.

What were some of the challenges you faced as a woman in engineering and how did you overcome them?

I faced biases and stereotypes, but I used these challenges to fuel my determination and advocate for diversity.

What advice would you give to someone considering a side hustle or starting their own business?

Validate your idea, understand your market, and take the first step. Be prepared for a journey of continuous learning and adaptation.
